Poignant. Profound. Profane.
Honest. Humble. Hilarious. Hopeful.
Raw. Revealing. Rebellious.
Bold. Beautiful. Blessed.
WHOA! This is by far the most interesting memoir and book I’ve read in a long time. Who can ignore sentences such as “… in what could be described as a bitch slap from the Holy Spirit!” Nadia Bolz-Weber shares her Christian journey and faith with authenticity in Pastrix: The Cranky, Beautiful Faith of a Sinner & Saint.
Bolz-Weber truly is a “sinner’s” witness to Grace. More than once I heard myself saying, Yes! – this is what Christianity is about. Toss out the flawless image of the saint we’ve come to believe belongs in our church’s pews. And by the way – angels come with tattoos!
**Seriously read this book!!**
